Pen Underwriting Consolidates Liability Offering
Pen Underwriting has today announced the restructure of its Liability teams to present a consolidated offering to the broker market. The decision to combine the Hospitality and Leisure Liability and General Liability teams has been made to harness Pen’s considerable expertise in the liability space, align the core skills of the management team and give Pen a more focused and holistic platform for brokers to access Pen Underwriting’s Liability products.
The new consolidated structure will be jointly led by Paul Behm and Paul Belford. Paul Behm as Liability Manager will be responsible for distribution, broker relationships and client service, while Paul Belford, as Technical Underwriting Manager, will focus his considerable expertise on shaping the product offering, providing technical support to the team and managing the various specialty portfolios that Pen offers.
“We have two strong Liability teams today. While they operate in different sectors it makes sense to merge both to capitalise on our collective strength.” says Ken Keenan, Chief Executive of Pen Underwriting “Our combined team will have significant market clout and deep expertise across the whole spectrum of liability risks. This will increase our ability to be the “Go To” market for speciality liability risks for our broker partners.”
The amalgamation of the Liability teams will not only bring renewed focus to Pen’s speciality liability offerings for Hospitality, Leisure, Rail Corridor, Airside and Manufacturing industries, but will also allow the team to broaden their focus to provide solutions to brokers for more technically challenging industries and occupations. Providing high quality service along with this expertise is core to Pen Underwriting’s offering.
